Overview

The Dermatology Department emphasizes the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair, and nail disorders, along with venereology and cosmetic dermatology. Students are trained in both clinical and procedural dermatology.

Key Learning Areas

  • Diagnosis and management of common skin conditions such as eczema and
    psoriasis.
  •  Cosmetic dermatology techniques, including chemical peels and scar
    treatments.
  • Venereology, focusing on sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
  • Skin biopsy and interpretation for pathological conditions.

  • Outpatient dermatology services for skin infections and conditions.
  • Phototherapy for chronic skin diseases.
  • Cosmetic procedures such as laser therapies.
  • Diagnosis and treatment of venereal diseases.
